London born, Wales raised, Joseph Morgan is an English actor and director. He studied at the Central School of Speech and Drama in London. Joseph's film debut was in 2003, when he took a small role in two TV movies, Eroica and Henry VIII. His first big screen appearance was alongside Russell Crowe, in Master and Commander: The Far Side of the World. His list includes Hex (2004), Doc Martin (2004), Casualty (1986), Ben Hur (2010), Klaus in The Vampire Diaries (2009) and Immortals (2011).
